Calling All Couples!

Are you a D.C. resident?

Are you totally gay?

Are you madly in love with somebody?

Then YOU could be the face of marriage equality for the District!

We are looking for same-sex couples who would be interested in speaking about the importance of equal marriage rights to the media or at public events. Couples can be legally married, planning to marry in another state, or waiting to marry until marriage is legal in the District. We are looking for couples of all races, from all parts of DC, and of all ages. All couples should be residents of the District.

1. DC for Marriage Planning Meeting Thursday, July 2 7pm @ The DC Center 1111 14th Street NW Suite #350

At this meeting we'll get a quick update on where things currently stand. Then, we need your help planning upcoming outreach and educational activities. RSVP here!

2. Data Entry Pizza Party Monday, July 13 6:30pm - 9:30pm @ The DC Center 1111 14th Street NW Suite #350

After multiple Pride events, we have identified many, many new marriage equality supporters! Join us for pizza and soda as we enter the data. Please bring friends and laptops if you have them. RSVP here!

3. I Do in DC Saturday, July 11 10:30am - 12:30pm @14th and U Farmers Market

We're heading to the 14th and U Farmers Market to talk to DC residents about marriage equality and to ask them sign a pledge of support for marriage equality. Talking with people face-to-face is the best way to build support for marriage equality. We are meeting at 14th and U at Busboys and Poets across the street from the farmers market at 10:30am.
