On Wednesday, the Granite State became the sixth U.S. state to offer full civil marriage rights and recognition to same-sex partners, and the third to do so through the legislative branch. Over 16 million Americans now enjoy full marriage equality where they live (CT, IA, MA, ME, NH, VT), and an additional 20 million can have out-of-state same-sex marriages legally recognized at home (NY and DC).Meanwhile, D.C. residents continue to organize in support of legislation for full marriage equality in the nation's capital. These upcoming meetings will consider a resolution calling on the Council to pass marriage equality legislation this year, a measure recently approved by Wards 2, 4, 6, and 8. Your support and attendance are encouraged!
