On Saturday March 28, DC for Marriage will kick off a new pledge campaign called "I Do in DC."
The pledge will be a central part of a person-to-person outreach campaign that will educate District residents about gay people and about marriage. As part of the campaign, we will hit the streets and talk to folks in Dupont Circle and Logan Circle and ask them to sign the pledge stating "I Do (support marriage equality) in DC."
We will be meeting at 10:00am on Saturday, March 28th at 1402 12th Street NW. Never done anything like this before? Don't worry. We will prep you with a brief training, a script and every thing you will need to be successful. Talking to people face-to-face is one of the best (and most fun) ways to change hearts and minds.
